This is the big controversy today, and it's a nationally covered story. Ya see, the Eagles went to play the Cincinnati Bengals, who are the second worse football team in the NFC. They've won one out of nine games this year, and our Eagles are good.
On the Eagles' defense, it was beary windy. Still… they are a'posed to be a beary good team, so they shouldn't need a defense. They simply shoulda beat them! And McNabb gave away three interceptions. To quote Captain Jack Sparrow, "Not good!"
Anyway, embarrassing enough not to have won, but you'd think a tie would be interesting, but no big deal for the rest of the world! Not true! The big story is that McNabb didn't know that a game could end in a tie in the National Football Conference. Ummm, why is that a big deal? Do you think every baseball player knows all five ways to get on first base? Even the rules need explaining on that one!
Funny thing – the coach…yes, the coach for the Bengals didn't know that you don't get another time out for overtime. Did anyone give him a hard time 'bout that one? NO! Know why? A'cuz they were a'posed to lose, so it's only the beary good team that press wants to pick on that gets so much flack 'bout not knowing its rules!
