Good thing our wives placeded an order with Burpees BEFORE we lost our frig and oven! Looks like our garden will be made mostly through sowing seeds this year.
Now, we were sure the perennial flowers were small enough that our honeys wouldn’t need our help. (We do heavy lifting, like putting soil in the proper containers and then moving them around, and we make things for the garden. They are the ones in charge of which plants go where.) We weren’t as sure ‘bout that when we saw them running to the Net to find out why these perennials came so early.
After investigating when they could plant everything, how much space they needed, which locations, and what was the bestest mix of soil and plants, our honeys gave us the verdict – we neededed to move pots, and change soil around. (There’s compost, old soil, and new soil, so it depends on what’s being planted, and they are the ones who know all this stuff.)
It’s raining today, so we have to wait to help them. We’re hoping they’ll let us fertilize like Bob T. Bear does, but no guarantees.
